Greenstone fireplace mantle - polished top with natural stone edges along front and on both ends - back edge is smooth.

6' 8" long x 10-3/4" wide (top of piece) and 3" thick (along natural stone edge

Very unique to quarry a piece of greenstone with these dimensions due to quartz veining which caused larger pieces to break. This piece of stone is clean. NOTE: The greenstone quarry just outside Lynchburg shut-down in the early 1960s. No other mantel like this one exists.

Will make for a beautiful and unique mantle. Truly one-of-a-kind!!
